Getting 2 children to pose and smile for pictures is a very difficult task and it is all about timing. Thankfully we had a very patient and skilled photographer. These are just a few of the wonderful pictures she took. A few of our pictures will be on our christmas card. Andy and I are so thankful for our two boys who are certainly that...ALL BOY! There is never a dull moment in our home but we would not have it any other way.

Carolina Christian School Gives Thanks
Colin's school hosted an amazing Thanksgiving program and meal. Each student and their family feasted on all the traditional foods that surely will help pack on the pounds. Prior to the meal, many classes participated in skits, recited poems and verses, sang songs and expressed all they were thankful for. May I add that Colin stated he was thankful for candy????? I will let that one go because I am honestly clueless on where that came from.
I have to share with you the lyrics to this song his class sang.
It was to the tune of "I'm a little teapot"
I'm a little Indian
on the go
Here is my arrow
Here is my bow
When I go a hunting,
Hear me shout
BEARS AND BUFFALO....YOU BETTER WATCH OUT!

It's My Party and I'll Cry if I want to...
Evan turned ONE on October 30. His first year flew by. It seems bittersweet as we say goodbye to the infant milestones but welcome the fun filled toddler days. He never seizes to amaze us. He soaks in all that is around him and certainly loves his big brother. Each year, we'll add another candle, so proud to watch him grow.
"My son, if your heart is wise, my own heart also will be glad"
Proverbs 23:15-16
We attempted to celebrate a few days after his actual birthday to include our entire family. Little did we know that he would wake up with a fever of 102. Needless to say he made it through the celebration...barely. We were able to snap a few candid shots but Evan was certainly not his true self. Poor thing ended up in the doctor's office the next day due to his fever rising to 103.9. What a first birthday! Stay tuned....he is bound to take his first steps soon!
Let's clean this mess off me
Too cute to spook, but not too sweet to trick or treat
My little cow and cowboy were quite a pair. With some friends, we loaded ourselves up on a few golf carts loaned by our dear neighbor and we were on our way. I have to say with the spotted rain and crowded neighborhoods - golf carts were the way to do it! The kids hopped on and off easily while the adults drove from house to house. They had a blast. Even Evan took in all the sights but eventually gave up and fell asleep on our ride home.

The Great Pumpkin Adventure
On October 30, Colin's kindergarten class as well as the first graders visited Patterson Farm. What a nice place! We enjoyed a hay ride, fed a few farm animals, helped assemble a scarecrow, drank warm apple cider, played in a huge pile of dried corn and of course...picked the perfect pumpkin. It was an exhausting day but worth every minute. Seeing this time of year through Colin's eyes today as he explored every inch of this farm makes everything look like a new discovery.
