2.0.1.1.

"We spend January 1 walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to balance the list, we should walk through the rooms of our lives, not looking for flaws but for potential."
Author: Ellen Goodman

"I will praise you , Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders.
I will be glad & rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name, Most High."
psalm 9: 1-2

Colin: You have such a gentle heart and spirit. Your red hair and innocent smile is picture perfect! I hope you will always give those sweet hugs to mom and dad even when they may not be so "cool" anymore!

Evan: my little man... you are so loving yet so rambunctious. Your grin and sly smile is captivating! I wish I could press "pause" so you would stop growing so fast!

WHITE CHRISTMAS....well almost!

The morning after Christmas we woke up to a Winter Wonderland! Technically not a "White Christmas" but close enough!

Evan is not too sure about all this "bundling up" mommy made him do!

The gloves were pulled off within a few minutes...this is not a good sign!
Hands already cold?????

Colin's baseball snowman!!!!
Ready for a snowball fight!
Evan is officially DONE! He obviously thinks this snow is way over-rated!

CHRISTmas

Christmas has come and gone. All the physical signs of Christmas are tucked away...the tree, decorations, leftover wrapping paper and bows. Even the toys are all mixed in with the rest. The preparation takes more time and energy than the festivities of the Day itself! Like any other, Colin and Evan enjoyed their share of toys and treats. However, time was not only set aside but cherished as we celebrated the birthday of our Lord. May we hold his presence in our hearts all year long!

Isaiah 9:6
"For unto us a child is born,
unto us a son is given;
& the government will be upon His shoulders.
and His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."

Waiting for Santa!

Yes...Evan is quite upset. He did not quite understand that the peanut butter balls were for Santa and not him. It is so hard to be 2!!!!!!

Evan working the remote to watch the Frosty the Snowman for the 98th time!

Evan is inches from getting his hands on Colin's floor puzzle! This is not going to end well I must say!

This is a sight not seen often - both boys still on daddy's lap at the same time. Quite a nice way to end Christmas day- a candid moment for sure!
